Fixing Broken Window Switches on a Ferrari F430

You can buy the Ferrari F430 Window switch repair kit here: https://www.exoticspecialtyparts.com/product/ferrari-f430-maserati-gran-sport-window-switch-repair-kit-fits-pn-7970500-67970400-208864-210965/8

The window switch on the Ferrari F430 is known to break easily. There are little tabs on the switch that break off. To replace the switch is pretty expensive, but there’s a simple repair kit made by Exotic Specialty Parts. In this video, I show you how to pull out the switches, and repair them using the repair kit.

Hey Dan! Thanks for the video! We really appreciate it! Did not even realize it was you when you ordered! Thanks for the business and keep up the good work! Please let me know if you come across anything else you may need for future repairs!

@fasd913 says:

Saw the police car parked out front, did it get fixed? Or just a decoy?

@davelelonek says:

We fix these all the time with no kit. And, to orient, you don’t need to put them in the car, if you study the switch you will see the actuation points, if you study the button you will see the same, just match the two.

@TheMaldenc says:

I'll do this, looks like a very enjoyable diy and a good way to stop the switches from annoying me.

@dalamar6228 says:

How is Technical Josh doing these days? Any plans to do a video or two with him soon? Miss the quacks!

@davidascher1801 says:

Looks like a lot of cheap plastic in a very expensive toy.
Would love to own one though.
Keep up the fun content!

FYI I bought the radio puller from Amazon (without any blue handle like yours, all metal) and they don’t work. They are too big and can’t insert into the radio. I gave up and had my shop do it.
But thanks for the vid! Will try to find the blue handled ones next time I need to replace the other side

@michaelyackovich155 says:

You figure the amount of $$$ you pay for a Ferrari and the low miles on these cars, the switch’s should last a very long time, but like Enzo said, you’re not buying the car, you’re buying the engine

@markmurphy5005 says:

Thanks for the video, well done! That switch kit also fits my 2006 Maserati GranSport. I have ordered the kit.

@ask4george1 says:

Hey Dan have you ever seen anybody move those window switchs to the drivers door. I would love to have mine in the door handle.

@EverythingorNothing says:

Dan you are the man I need to do this to my Ferrari f430 and this video is timing is quite poignant.
Thank you and I look forward to buying a car from you sometime in the future thinking GT40 man.

@CORLEONESPORTS97 says:

you would think as expensive these cars are, they would make interior to the highest quality, i have a friend san diego with one, like 95000 dollars same shit, buttons, come on man, for 10000 the interior shouldnt be like a hyundai

@LUVMYVFR says:

Watching Dan work on Ferraris is why i subscribed from the beginning!

@chenglo8999 says:

Wish i wouldve seen this b4 buying mine. Ill still get it for opposite side. Not installed yet as i been procrastinating. Will get kit and do both. Maybe save the new switch til its actually needed

@mattbiondo4522 says:

Why did you reverse the switches? It looks weird.

@joetrentmann--N0JVW--4REF1 says:

Great kit/solution (made in Merica ) & topic! @exoticspecialtyparts @AltitudeAndLongitude

@thiosemicarbizidebenzoylal2921 says:

Still think you guys should do those carbon aero kits. Its simply fire, and cheap but better than oem production standards.
