Recently bought the shift cable from Amazon for $24. Will see if it fixes the issue.

@VegetaThePrince1 says:

Question I have the old bushing still under the ball I’m assuming a saw that off before installing the new bushing?

@tinahairston6383 says:

So glad I found this video. About to have my brother do this on my mom's Chrysler 200 and the detail and explanation are fabulous. Thank you!

@10peteo says:

I just fixed my Chrysler Sebring after watching this video, thanks for the help.

@TrueXXX90 says:

What about the other end

@ismaelcoronajr says:

Honestly im gonna do this with some epoxy and a sylicone mold over the shifter hehehehe. I dont gotta wait for shipping

@JuanVega-ns5ok says:

I ordered one of the bushings from bushingfix and paid to have it shipped overnight. Unfortunately, it shipped out of Florida during a hurricane. They could have routed it to Jacksonville, but they sent it to Tampa, whose airport shut down…due to the hurricane. No tactical decision making, whatsoever. It took over a week for me to get the overnight part. Good ending, though. The bushing was a bit difficult to install, but the transmission worked perfectly afterward.

Thank you so much for this video! Quoted 350 plus tow. I did it myself in very little time. 61 year old female who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty!

@salukitrackhomevideos91and21 says:

Great video thank you. I have skinny arms and was able to replace bushing on a 2012 Dodge Avenger without removing air box. Also watch for bits of old bushing that need to be removed before installing. I removed mangled partial old bushing with needlenose pliers.

@ChrisR57 says:

Even from bushingfix, that little piece of plastic is highway robbery!!!

@roberthartman1989 says:

This is exactly the problem I had. Thanks very much for the video! Going to look for that bushing now.

@syntaxerorr says:

Never thought of replacing just the bushing. Thanks!

@MikeIrvin-e6l says:

Great information. Thanks for your knowledge.

@turnkeyremodel says:

Just saved me a tow to the shop and what ever they would have charged for the repair. Thanks! btw – the amazon link above doesn't work anymore but I found the part for my 2007 Sebring Limited at BushingFix – part #TB1KIT20 for $20 plus tax and shipping.
