Thank you so much! This is the best explanation to replace that bracket

@SHAD0WZOMBIE says:

Great video!, there is an additional bracket on the back of the power steering pump not shown here, maybe its just on the HD versions or a certain year or something.

I just finished replacing in my 2003 gmc Yukon thanks to this video. I took it step by step pausing every time you switched screens to catch up using Dollar General tools and a pulley remover I borrowed from Autozone. Job took my 5hrs and I am by FAR not a mechanic. I did not remove the fan (didn’t have the tool) just worked around it but Thank You x1000 for this video

@DarwinnianTheGreatish says:

This guy edited out the dropping of tools and the swearing.. made it look way too easy ;p very clear video, great cameraman

@alihawi2957 says:

How do I check the steering pump before replacing it?

@FixLife119 says:

I was going to make a video of this but there's no way it would be better than this, this is a perfect how to video.

@SeanChristian-qi7jz says:

I tried to find the answer in the comments with no success, but how long did it take to complete the repair? Great no nonsense video!

@coltenjm10 says:

Where's the links for tools? Thanks

@racko6ix says:

Thanks for this how-to vid. My pre-prep tutorial to help prepare me for the job.
I'm going to order that pulley puller tool and possibly make the fan tool myself.
Or maybe not depending of price on a new one.

It was raining when I did mine also. Thanks for the great video man!!

@Texan_Patriot says:

My PS pump recently started whining, even though it has not only enough fluid but new fluid AND some conditioning agents. Which tells me that this very job is in my near future, thanks for the concise and easy to follow instructional video!

@trayce5408 says:

Is this the same on a lb7 duramax?

@danieltullier4750 says:

make sure to bleed the air out of the powersttering system or else the pump will fail sooner
