2003 Silverado 400,200 miles those thermostat housing gaskets suck put a new water pump and thermostat gasket was leaking and Big O was wanting to charge an arm and a leg to replace water pump when it was thermostat gasket pissing antifreeze out!!!

I was able to help a customer replace his thermostat on an 01' today. Problem was the damn thermostat REFUSED to come off until I played Boot Scootin' Boogie by Brooks & Dunn.
After changing my radiator on my 03 silverado. It now sits at 190 mostly and then on drives over 15-20 minutes will grt to 210. Maybe got my thermostat stuck open somehow when I changed the radiator to an aluminum one
