New Control Arm with Ball Joint from 1AAuto.com https://trq.video/ic-1ASFU00198

Control arms are a crucial part of the suspension system of your vehicle. They not only carry the load of the vehicle to the wheel, but they typically also maintain its alignment. Control arms are typically large and strong, so you may be surprised it needs replacing. They contain rubber bushings for smoother rides at the cost of eventual wear, or integrated ball joints that require replacing the entire arm when they wear. This video shows you how to install a new quality TRQ upper control arm in your 2007-14 Chevy Silverado.

Instructions unclear, hand in spring

I just did the whole font end on my Truck except the struts & drive shafts. The drive side is easy to remove the cam bolts the passenger side was the difficult side. If you end up snapping the bolt to the bracket, yes you can use a zip tie, or go to the hardware store & get a 6x1x 20mm.

Thank you for the vid

@vonnieboy7878 says:

How come you didn’t mark the cams?

@LiathBahjatNorCal says:

Why making it 2hrs job when you can finish it in 15 minutes? Don't remove the struts. Control arm bolts and ball joint bolt, pull the old Control arm and put the new one. I replaced them in 15 minutes even when I was mechanic student.

@marianga4098 says:

I just replaced mine. Thanks to this video. The adjuster plates (or whatever they may be called) on each side of the bolts SHOULD NOT be placed identically where they were. Because the camber, hope that's right, will be way off. If they drop down about a 1/2 inch it will be fine. That is where mine ended up at after the 4 wheel alignment. Other than that, this was exactly what I did to replace mine and this video made it very easy. I didn't have any power tools, just leverage. I did spray down all bolts the day before and morning of.

@Joel-vk7im says:

Where’d you find this truck , in the bottom of the ocean ?

@caydencoleman8383 says:

You don’t have loosen the tie rod or take the strut out, a lot of extra work for no reason, and an impact with a plastic hubcap lmao

@jordanchamplin6298 says:

You do not have to take
the strut out

@paulfsemicolen01 says:

Totally removedbthe strut bolt holding the spring together…… Your video was unclear to which nut to remove……
