I usually put a little dielectric grease on the coil oring and use antiseize on that stupid little bolt. Liked the getto rig.
They get wet so the dealership used a windshield washer can cutout as a waterproofing device!
While i dont agree with plastic parts on an engine, this only happens because "techs" overtighten the shit out of those bolts so yeah not reallt the manufacturers fault
Someone needs horse whipping for coming up with plastic on top of motors period.
FYI mix epoxy by weight using a scale. If the mixing instructions is a ratio just pick an appropriate unit of weight.
Shoe polish, floor wax, or any similar wax polish can be used as a release agent.
Bro those bolts are supposed to be torqued to like 80 inch pounds…
