HA! I see the hardware store air cleaner/ intake pipe… I built one just the same way, when I was 18yrs old. Biggest mistake I made, was actually…that I failed to pipe-glue each piece together, and the filter fell off later when driving to work. I ran it slap over.
Im NOT a GM guy, so please excuse my ignorance. Is the idea behind your custom tool to wedge between the coil spring on the lifter and by rapping on the tool you are forcing the spring to extend all the way?
I've got a stock GMT900 that is thankfully still running at 252k but should I ever need to do this, I will. And for the information given in this short, I thank you good Sir
Need to point out that this is a stuck hydraulic lifter in the disabled position, not a failed roller on the bottom of the lifter, which will damage the camshaft. The 07 and up Displacement On Demand (DOD) only has this lifter on 4 cylinders, while the newer Active Fuel Management (AFM) has all 8 cylinders that can be randomly disabled.
No, this is a temporary fix. Fix it the right way. The first time as I always say you're gonna pay me now. What are you gonna pay me later? But backwards, fixing things you're always going to pay more fix it, right? The first time people love your videos. But I disagree with this one
You are a clever sob
Afm delete kit!!
The newer GM light trucks have a button to turn off the auto-stop. I deactivate it every time I drive my lady's truck.

there is a port in the valley pan you can plug off instead of replacing the pan
