Once i see where the top of the water pump housing is moist with oil and only seems to come from the oil oump gasket, i pull the oil pump and change the gasket before oil mixes with coolant. I recommend changing it every 100,000 miles. Cheap insurance
American quality is in the tank just like European vehicles are in the tank. I remember when I bought my 2015 Chevy and within 27000 me I had seven recalls and I was in the process to traveling or relocating to Idaho and on my third trip Chevrolet told me I had a recall on my hitch which was tearing off of the truck. Only after my third trip heavily loaded trailer to Idaho and I had to wait 3 days in California because they ordered me the wrong freaking hitch. And don't forget the software issues the transmission leaking like if it idle too long your truck may catch on fire and such and after one of my software upgrades it affected my air conditioning and my radio because everything in that damn truck is controlled by the damn computer. And my truck at 27,000 mi I traded it in for a 2008 Dodge Cummings turbo. If you want a typical vehicle by a Toyota and or Honda not European and not American made. Just remember politicians over regulate every effing thing, whether it's Farmers or the automotive. And remember those cupcakes in the White House want us to drive electric car eat bugs and lab-grown meat. And I'll say those cupcakes will not eat bugs or lab grown meat. Us peasants that pay their wages are just robbing of the elite and politicians families right to natural food

They build them to fail. Junk as engineers. Buick 3.8 great motor and they stopped making it. It was too good.
