Impossible Thermostat! Cadillac SRX 3.6 Part 2

Welcome back to the shop! In this video, we’re working on a 2006 Cadillac SRX, with a 3.6-liter V6 engine. We’ll be showing you some of the processes involved in a typical auto repair, including using diagnostic tools on the engine. This SUV has antifreeze leaks and several warning lights on the dash. We find misfires and ABS problems. Customer States vehicle is making noises while driving.

The Ford IMRC intake uses the long runners below 3000 rpm for torque and the short runners above 3000 rpm for top end power.

There was one of these local for sale same issue, the person selling bought the parts and decided that it was more than he wanted to tackle, he said that gm said you had to remove the heads to do this job so he just sold the car for 1,000 bucks with the parts glad you found a work around though a tough job! car had just over 100,000 mile on it

Engineers are told to be innovative and make it so it can go down an assembly line fast to save labor cost on union labor.
They dont care about the mechanixs. Theyre goal isnt to make it easy to work on.
