Thanks tons for this video. I was hoping eventually I’d run into someone with the same problem. Do you know why they do this? And any idea how to do the back seat small corner one? I purchased a pre owned 2022 xt4 with less than 10,000 miles from the dealership and didn’t notice this right away. Seems like something that shouldn’t happen until the car gets older.
Did you have any issues with headlights? Mine seem to be a little funky.
Thank you

If you do this job, the rubber trim will go back into place easier if you spray some window cleaner on it where it has so slide into place.

Thanks for the video. I have a 2021 XT4, the pillars are still good but the small triangular trim piece in the back side window has started delaminating. Hopefully it won't be difficult to replace. Disappointed that this is happening so quickly.

Can anyone provide a part number?

Do you have to have a special tool?

Hello all – We recently contacted GM HQ because our local dealer stated the issue with the black appellates paint peeling the part between the window (the black pieces between each door, window) are known issues with Cadillac yet they are not going to do anything. Funny because GM HQ replied with we don't know of this issue and we have not issued a recall. Lets get all Cadillac owners with this issue to call GM HQ for Cadillac and lets prove to them this is or should be a known issue to them. Would truly like to know if the BS that GM HQ stated maybe this is a "local" issue. You should note that our Caddie is garaged 98% of the time. Any else? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for this video! The dealer quoted $1233 to replace all four of these. Outrageous! After watching your video, I was able to do this myself in under 45 minutes. I ordered the four Applique Trim Covers from World Parts Direct for $105.

How much were these?
