– This video shows a 2013 Cadillac CTS. The video can also provide guidance on model years: 2009 – present
– The battery group size H6 and H7 are used. Some newer models come with an AGM battery due to the start-stop fuel saving system. Check to make sure you get the right size.
– We highly recommend upgrading to an AGM (if it didn’t come with one) for better performance and longer life. You can learn more about AGM and ‘start-stop’ here: https://autobatteries.com/battery-technology/absorbent-glass-mat-agm-battery

-The use of a memory saving procedure can keep the memory alive on the vehicle’s computer during the battery replacement procedure. If you want to learn more about memory saving, referring to our video here. https://youtu.be/vSP3ShcaFgQ

-Although this video may provide you with the basic procedures for replacing your battery, we recommend that you check with the vehicle manufacture’s step by step procedures found in service/repair manuals for the vehicle you are working on.

Some late model vehicles must have the 12 volt battery registered with the vehicle’s Battery Control Module or Computer after replacement. See these videos on Battery registration and coding for more details on the procedures at https://youtu.be/TGKohKZHzr0 & https://youtu.be/cxOK_DczRGg

Always wear safety glasses and gloves when working with or near batteries.

Not sure when you made this video but nothing is correct on a 2018 starting with the location, its on the driver's side. Battery is not completely visible. There is no direct access.
