How to remove the door panel and replace a Window Regulator in a:
2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 Cadillac Deville or DTS DHS or STS.
Window regulators are common malfunctions in these cars. The motor rarely fails, but the regulator cables do. Buy a replacement regulator and replace it yourself!

Excellent Video!! I had to rewind it several times ,so I could get the regulator back IN..But great job with this !! I have done all 4 doors ,in the past …but my memory isn't what it never was!!Thanks!!

Is there a way of Jerry rigging Emmanuel I don't know cable or something so that you can lift the window up and down if you can't afford to buy a new regulator or motor or whatever that contraption is. Like somehow you some sort of wire rope have it come through the door somewhere where you can just lift it up pull it lift it up let it go so it goes down because I can't afford to pay to get it fixed or repaired right now

Hi Greg! Thank you for posting this. I have a 2000 Cadillac Deville DTS that had what I thought to be a bad window regulator.
My boyfriend was able to take everything apart and get the new one in there (thanks to your video 🙂 ) but when we went to test it (before reassembling) we found that when trying to raise the window it starts slowing down at the halfway point and then if you keep holding it will go again but stops shortly before the top.
We’ve read tons of articles and tried resetting the “stop points”, read my manual, and tried loosening/tightening bolts and nothing is working. Any ideas?!

I changed my 03 Deville drivers door. I typed a rope to the new wire harness but I can't get into the car .do you know how I can find the passage from inside please?
