Great video! I have a 17 Impala 3.6 with the 6t70 transmission. I guess it's the second gen. I have the occasional 2-3 flare that seems to only happen in heavy traffic and when running hot. It was serviced 16,000 miles a go. Fluid levels seem fine and not burnt. I just added some lubegard red which seemed to eliminate the occasional flaring, for now. My local trans shop can never seem to find an issue as it's too occasional. In your opinion, is this a common issue with this trans? And is there much else i can do? Thank you.
I am guessing you scanned for codes at some point, as the DTC would show a misfire or a transmission slip. How did you know it was an ignition related misfire vs a fuel related misfire?
