Can’t wait for the coding service Alec! I just bought a single hump headunit with built in combox (so it has bluetooth audio and calls built in!) for my e92 and I’m excited to get it in but I’m a little nervous since I’ve never coded with NCS, I think it’s pretty straightforward but I definitely may need rescuing haha

I really enjoy your videos but I would like to tell you something that quite frankly is none of my business but I think you're a little bit too nice to people and take this for what it's worth. You are in business and you need to make money, you cannot feel bad when things break and you have to charge people labor and parts. You're not ripping anybody off by doing that that's what you're supposed to do. I really love your videos and you're a good mechanic so get paid for your work

Alec, you never cease to amaze me with your kindness and your generosity!

A $20 Gold Double Eagles weight is close to an ounce, 0.9675 troy. If Ed offered you one in exchange for payment it is worth close to $2500 when you put it on the PAWN shops counter. Ed probably got it years ago when it was worth $200 or so. It would have been a win win for both of you if you took it as payment in full. Never turn down gold son, never..

As a tech, I usually see the opposite of what you're saying at 14:00. Usually when I see clogged pumps, it's because the customer put water in the system, which allowed colonies of bacteria to grow and clog up the screen, just like you see in home made kombucha or something. It's gross. I've also seen multiple scientific studies that say that using straight water can cause much higher risk of Legionnaires and other diseases. It's worth using the washer fluid in my opinion.

The good thing is all of these parts have lifetime warranty through FCP Euro. They even warranty the oil. O course you have to send back the bad parts but it's so worth it!

I’m sorry, I’ve always wanted a bmw but it is just obsurd that they haven’t sorted out their coolant leaks. Specifically the expansion tank
