Everything is wrong with it from Roller Cam to EFI to ABS and bad transfer gear case and the front independent suspension and water based paint its better to get a restored 1977 suburban its all steel
Nah plastic originals from dealer are good as well as the metal ones as long as u give maintenance to the cooling system no need for the upgrade

On my Silverado I cut the fittings off and put brass plumbing fittings
I just go to brass barb fittings…. Won’t come off or break down for decades.
