Definitely oil filter housing. Theres an aluminum upgrade for this. Also sometimes you would see the leak from the coolant flange connector on the block where the upper hose connects. Common issues for these BMWs
As consumer. You just fixed it did all these repairs. How come you didn’t check the support of the engine prior to fixing the hoses. Aren’t you entitled to do a full audit on the car before providing any repair option ?? I think doing that and providing the consumer minimum 3 options if they are legitimately valid. Motor mounts on a b48 are very common. Had mine replaced under warranty at 40k miles. That oil filter housing looks cooked. I’m at 95k in Houston and mine looks nothing like that. May have overheated the engine and it cooked the oil filter housing.
Oil cooling housing ,and upper radiotor hose water outlet , and the turbo cooling supply hose , i done 7 of them bmw x3,530i, 335i, and all those bmw models that have the 2.0 turbo
