These things never fail, they stay very lubricated from all the front case and valve cover leaks. Quality design if you ask me.
I just had to replace the water pump and serpentine belt on my Corolla. I'd have done some unholy for this type of tensioner
Try that with it IN the car…
Same thing on the 1mz Fe except there is only one implement on the one timing belt.
I really prefer a timing chain that isn’t hooked to any of the accessories….
Oh cool! I on the other hand had to buy a special tool to put on a stretch belt….
