Bmw, Mercedes, and Audio are great, fast, technological over engineered monsters. With that said, they're what's known as money pits. These brands used to be more reliable, not anymore. Plastics galore and they're so overly engineered a minor part replacement could mean dissecting half of the engine bay.
Heed these words.. LEASE, and have your fun. Most repairs or maintenance is in the lease agreement. Do NOT own or pay to own any of those brands of vehicles under any circumstances. Have fun, renew a lease, then gitty up on out.
If your lazy or just auto illiterate you could justify the expense of such technology. Me… I just change my pads when they get low. Half a penny worth of metal lets me know when.

Is the vehicle still in warranty?
If not, get rid of it.
They are easy to work on. just have a good scan tool.
My best piece of advice, dont buy a car like this.
