Then another: start system. malfunction Function unavailable.The scanner showed that the battery needed to be replaced. After replacing the battery, everything was the same. The battery is a deka. Any advice was appreciated. Thank you

I have a 2015 Q5 Hybrid Prestige. I installed a RSNAV carplay, then battery died. bought new battery, registered the battery correctly (I believe). Now my MMI control knob and buttons are not working. I get flashing red lights. I tried to reset by holdind down the 3 buttons (Knob, right corner button, and left bottom button). Still not resolved. disconnected battery and reconnected, still not working. Any guidance? Thank you "Stumped in CA".

Good afternoon sir I’m a fan of your work, I’m driving a 2011 Audi a4 2.0, I’m having issues with my ecu/component protection. I’ve tried all possible fixes that I’ve found online and no success. Took the car to local Audi dealer yesterday and they want to replace component J533. The car runs and all exterior functions are working as normal however the interior dashboard displays the word “SAFE”. Only gauge that is functioning on dashboard is speedometer. Radio is unresponsive, along with air conditioning also unresponsive. Interior lights are also not working. Changed battery 2 months ago with local Audi dealer and no issues at all for last couple months and few days ago of sudden car is in Safe mode. Dealer is requesting replacement of J533. Is it possible to convince an Audi dealer to just simply remove CP? Audi is wanting $1k in repairs for 15 year old car. Do you think I can get away with more cost effective solutions? Any help is highly appreciated.

HELLLO I HAVE AN 2014 AUDI A7 SUPERCHARGED 3.0. I BPOUGHT IT WITH 47,000 MILES AND TWO WEEKS LATER ALL THE STEERING LIGHTS APPEARED ON THE DASH. THE DEALER TRIED TO CHARGE ME $13,000 PLUS FOR A NEW STEERING COLOM IT WAS STILL DRIVABLE I DID MY RESEARCH AND I ORDERD A VCDS UNIT AND OBD 11 I ERASED THE PARKING BRAKE, BRAKE, EPC , CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I UNLOCKED THE STEERING ITS NOT THAT HARD ANYMORE BUT THE WAY THAT I HAVE IT SETTING I CANT DRIVE IT OR BACK UP THAT FAR. I FINALLY GOT THE RESETTING OF OF LEARNED VALUES FOR STEERING ASSISTANCE. BUT THEN IT GOES BACK AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I TRIED TO TURN TO LEFT AS FAR AS IT GOES GENTLY AND RIGHT GENTLY AND CENTER TURN OFF CAR WAIT TURN CAR ON AND ITS ALL THERE. THE CAR IS OFF 9.85 DEGREES. TIRES LOOK STRAIGHT. IT WAS DRIVABLE A YEAR LIKE HOW IT WAS THE BATTERY DIED WE DIDNT KNOW AND NOW IT HAS A NEW BATTERY AND ITS CODED TO VEHICLE. Is a a8 2011 i dont use it for few months and the battery drain and i have a couple error codes, 1 is C104807 and the other 1 is for the same problem. Just a driving and when my speed is over 30 mph the light yellow show in but, when turn off the car and start again and drive over the 30 mph show the yellow light again. 2004 A4 Cabrio 1.8T. 75000 miles.
When the battery was replaced the fuel gauge was unresponsive. Had to pull fuses 15 and 28 to clear the error.

Why do some Audi A7's have sequential lights & some don't? I have a 2018 A7 prestige & I don't. I've seen lesser models have them however. Is this a software thing?
