In this video, I fix the intermittent oil pressure warning on my Audi Q5 by replacing the two oil pressure sensors and the oil pressure control valve.

Question…. Was that engine all original or was it rebuilt?

Did it have the bearings replaced?
If so, were they color-coded according to manufacturer specs or was it a “standard replacement bearing set” where all the bearings are the same thickness?

Thanks.

@Medicoredetective555 says:

More than likely, it’s just the oil filter, the aftermarket ones collapse on themselves, with Audi you need a Genuine oil filter or MANN branded filter. Occasionally the switch is bad. Never seen an audi with a failed oil pump or main bearings without a noise.

@fred_nEckerson says:

Switches, not sensors. Can't tell you how many of these engines I've seen that had the dealer hacked piston swap and foreign junk got lodged in the variable displacement gear in the pump. Why have you not checked the actual pressure with a gauge?

Страхотна работа. Благодаря за това, което правите!

Nice job. Have the very same engine and have followed your work on them for quite a while.
