Audi tt mk1 back window repair, a common problem with the mk1 roadsters is the back window will in time detach from the roof, this one is a 2001 audi and the window hadn’t detach totally but was leaking,
I’ve never taken on a job like before but I had watched many videos here on youtube on how to fix this problem.
It took me about six days, sticking a section at a time, I used magnets to hold the layers place while they dried.
End result the roof doesn’t leak but I’m only 90 per cent happy with the job, couple of weeks after a small crease appeared at the top of the window, being a little worried the glass maybe be under pressure I cut the sealant on the outside, the lip of the roof covers the the top of the glass and it’s well glued on the inside so still no leaks, time will tell.
