So, instead of fucking around and installing a new PCV that’ll fail sooner or later, how bad of an idea would it be to plug that hole you fingered early in this video, and stick a filter on the hose that covers said hole?
Not concerned at all about emissions…. I’m concerned about whether or not it’ll damage the motor or effect boost

Hey, what if my car runs/sounds good, but it is going thru oil faster than it should (1/2L every 2 weeks), and I found engine oil on the throttle body when I took the charge pipe rubber tube off (the last tube connecting directly to the throttle body right beside the coolant overflow tank)

So, what started with a bad ball joint ended up with two new ball joints and both lower and upper control arms, motor mounts as well as 2 CV axels, 4 rotars and brakes… AUDI wanted nearly 8k. My Q5 is a 2012 that I purchased for just 4. I neighbor facilitated the repairs for right around 2k, and I got Most of my parts. Oem from ebay for sometimes 75% less than Autozone wanted. My problem is right next to intake you put your finger on is some kind of port. My neighbor not knowing Audi kept saying it's a test port and that it should be covered. He improvised a cap and everything was fine for 50 miles. Now, i have all 4 Cylinders misfiring and lights coming on telling me my car is in " LIMPING" mode. I replaced the PCV Valve bladder but not the unit. And also removed that stupid cap. I'll run this test next, and then put in new coils and spark plugs. Do you have any videos on testing fuel injectors?! Those may need to get swapped out too…… But just curious, what is that PORT just tip the left of that intake actually for?

Make sure the new one you put in is a good one! Just because it’s new doesn’t mean it works right!

If the rough idle remains after blocking the intake nipple, does that mean the vaccuum leak is somewhere in the intake manifold?
