Very useful
Good video, but you never said how you can reset that light that’s what I’m trying to find out
I had the same problem yesterday morning — the EPC light came on and the car started shaking. The car has been fixed today; one ignition coil had failed.
Can a bad thrtl body cause the exhaust to have a rich smell of gasolin?..when the engine is hot, then gasol smell goes away. It only smell when i start with a cold engine.
Mine doesn’t shake, but kind of skips and makes a rattling noise. This is happening now and happened once before. Also, occasionally the oil light flashing saying pressure is low, even though I just had oil changed.
Dirty throttle body will test it this weekend – EPC light comes on randomly no symptoms
Tunes cause the entire car to run a lot harder. Service everything 20,000 miles prior to recommend service.
Also if you have a tune 100
Thanks ….very useful info
P0300 code .misfire ..shaking car sat for 2 years
My light started coming on but there’s no shaking. When I turn the car off it turns off and will randomly come on. Doesnt have to be under hard acceleration or anything and seems to have no effect
basically says we need to go main dealer, waste of time
2014 S5 same issue, codes come back as misfire on 2,4,6 also rich on bank 2. New plugs and coils cleaned the TB. Car runs allot better but still getting the epc light and misfire codes after about 10miles. Anyone got advice?
Not necessarily, mine shows a misfire on cylinder 1 randomly but spark plugs and coil packs are ok. Mechanic couldn't and can't work it out as it's an Audi and prone to issues
I recently had this issue with my 2009 Audi Q5 and after scanning the system it turned out to be 2 ignition coils that went bad, replaced them ( after replacing all spark plugs as well) and the issue was gone
This was super informative, thank you!
Hi my q5 2012 check engine light is flashing when I start the car up then it starts to shake and the epc light comes on I replaced the spark plug , cords, fuel injectors do you know what the problem is?
Does anyone know what to do with the OBSII can't get a reading at all? Have the EPC with crank and no start but can't communicate with the car with the reader.
I have an 2012 Audi a6 and it started shaking at the stop light but after I put the gas it drove fine can I still drive it back home?
Well it can be your muffler bearings or headlight fluid.
