So can I put the new metal key into my old body, and it will still work except for needing it to be milled? In other words, I will not need to reprogram the key?
My key sticks out really bad (about 45 degrees), so I want the switchblade to work properly without spending over $100 on it.

Is the transponder in the button assembly or is it in the key (blade) section?

Can I just take the innards of my oem key and transfer everything over to the aftermarket fob?
