With the engine out is very easy, try it with the engine installed, thats a different story

I've changed timing belts on 4 cylinder Hondas a lot but never on a V6. I'm thinking about doing my 2006 Acura TL. Quick question…what was that you did eith the ratchet right before taking the first pulley off. Were you lining everything up TDC?
