Andrew Beduhn says:

Could you have taped the new wire on to the old wire and fished the new one through the holes? Just curious if that would have worked also.

redbovine says:

I use to mechanic for a company that ran Volvos. I hated those cables. They broke at the worst time. I ended up putting them on a PM replacement schedule. It was like every 18 months or something like that (10years ago). They were easier to replace when you could put the wheel in a good position to start with. Volvos required you to think different when working on them.

SIXPACFISH says:

Stick a loop of wire through the little hole, stick the cable through the loop, pull the loop while pushing the cable. You should get the cable through, if you are holding hour mouth right. Making scary faces and using bad language often helps encourage a stubborn part to fit.

Coronado 5150 says:

You have to wake up early when driving a Volvo! Always something to fix.

Sonia Pritchard Smith says:

Thanks bruh !! Mine has been broken for a while

Jalopy Joe says:

Was hear…late

ResearchIt says:

Would attaching a pull rope / wire to the old cable as you pulled it out assist with fishing the new cable through? Enjoy the video's! Thanks

Megan Hopper says:

The boss brought in breakfast pizza this morning, thought of you right away

tonyringtail says:

I wonder if you would have been able to pull the new cable through with the old cable. Might have saved some headache if it was possible

Tim Durkan says:

Imho as a non mask wearer: mask on or off. Hanging from the ear for easy access looks dumb af.

Jason Reynolds says:

You need to get yourself a peterbilt 389. They are built better and hold their value way better and when they do break they are easier to work on. FYI. Your hood pull will probably break next. Love the videos though.
