Pulling like a Train now Robert.

My 1995 Volvo wagon does the same thing between 3rd and 4th gear. As you
know my lead foot wife loves it

Very nice… now how can you get it to stay that way lol.. my T5 has a few
problems right now.. waiting on some extra money and then I can push her
again !

If it’s over boosting, I’d also be looking to make sure the wastegate is
adjusted correctly as well as the vacuum lines from the TCV/BCV as already
stated :)

Евгений Горяев says:

does any s70 have turbo meter on the dash or ony 850 have it?

Geo Curtis says:

Oh Wow! I wish my 850 could perform like that. Even when I put the
transmission in “Sport” mode, I cant get acceleration like that. I wonder
if anyone has done a turbo conversion and posted a video about it…

tijoskate says:

Hi Robet, I too have an 850 turbo and my turbo gauge on full throttle
downshifts never goes higher than the middle of the white part… Kind of
like in your normal boost video. I assume the engine is loosing boost, but
I don’t know where it could be coming from, maybe the diverter valve is
leaking ? Did you find anything that might explain this ?

What was wrong with the car before, faulty turbo charger?

crismit632 says:

Hey Robert, i think my 98 v70 glt has similar issues after seeing your
previous stock boost video and now this. Sometimes my car feels like there
is new found power/is boosting correctly while other times its sluggish.
When its running right the gas is very responsive to inputs and tight,
acceleration feels effortless. When its sluggish the gas pedal is
physically very soft to press down and requires more travel to achieve
acceleration. This generally happens when its warm outside but sometimes is
random. I have tightened the waste-gate and checked the vacuum lines. Let
me know if you find the culprit to your boost problems, Thanks!
