Guide to changing the front wheel bearing on a Volvo V70/S60/S80 (1999-2007). The example vehicle here is a 2003 Volvo V70 D5, but the procedure is the same for the S60 and S80 from the same era. This video is intended as a guide only, it is not the official manufacturer repair procedure. Undertake DIY automotive repairs at your own risk. Always secure the car with axle stands when removing a wheel. If at all uncertain, use a qualified mechanic.

Really Happenings says:

Manufacturer spec requires all bolts be replaced, they are all TTY, every one in this video except the sensor and lugs.

tom wood says:

No need to remove the ABS sensor or the strut bolts. Leave that stuff alone or risk damaging sensor and streamline the repair by not removing things that are not necessary. EXPERT VOLVO TECH HERE. GOOD LUCK

Brad Hays says:

Thanks my friend this video showed up just in time. Any idea where I can find the torque values for the bolts involved? Apparently there is no Chiltons or Haynes manual for this vehicle.
