Can you make a video of you replacing the twin turbocharger on 2004 Volvo XC90 t6

A Youtuber says:

Did no one notice he was impacting it in the wrong direction? He was tightening it.

jim bob says:

Just for future reference all he had to do was use a #27 torx on the torx hole in the center of bolt to hold bolt in place while spinning nut with a wrench. I dont know if all sway bars have this but the ones on these volvos feature the convenient torx patterned hole in center of bolt

Very good video. Shows some of the agony of losening rusted parts. One little possibly useful tip could be to spray the studs/nuts on the new part with body-coat. That way it will hopefully be easier to remove next time. And next time you want to remove it, it may be for another reason than replacing the sway bar links (so you don't necessarily want to buy new ones).

Chuck McKinnon says:

Really appreciate you guys showing the reality of getting rusted parts off, and not editing that out for brevity. That can often be the bulk of the work. The winters are long where I live, so the XC90 is very practical, but all the salt on the roads and the moisture make for plenty of rust. Thanks!

Frank Li says:

Amazing video! Thank you! It would be even better if he can briefly explain the function of the part replaced and how to diagnose the faulty part.
