Hi, I’m wondering what the rod on top is for, which you can see at the end of the video. It connects the bulkhead and the engine compartement. Does it stabilize the engine compartement or something? And does it have a specific name? We can’t find the part on the internet 🙂

Do you recommend using ultra blue gasket maker to both sides of water pump gasket? In appreciation for your video, All the best and blessings from New Rochelle N.Y. Bruce the swimmer

Hi, I see you use yellow coolant liquid. I currently use the blue coolant (in the last 22 yrs 🙂 ). Am I wrong? can I cause any damage? Any advantage in using the yellow one? thanks

Omar Quraishi says:

Well detailed and informational video. When checking for leaks after filling with coolant, I believe the belts should be installed so that the pump is actually moving coolant.
