Hey Youtube today we are switching things up and working on my first 4 cylinder car. My wife VW Tiguan which is actually a pretty fun little car. My wife wont let me modify it yet so I am stuck just keeping up on the basic maintenance. But we ran into issues with the sunshade and this is my attempt to try and fix it. Spoiler alert it didn’t work for me.

I should have learned from you and never even attempted this repair but I’m stubborn and went and bought 2 shades on eBay anyway. I did my research and was ready to tackle this job thinking if the first one fails on me I’ll have a backup. These shades that I purchased were from 2 different sellers thinking that they would be slightly different. The installation went smoothly with the assistance from my fellow engineer friend we watched your YouTube video and this one https://youtu.be/N5beaqdfrDQ. The first shade installed went tits up followed by the 2nd piece of garbage. These shades are shit quality and I guess the guy in the other YouTube video got really lucky with his purchase. Thanks for your sharing your experience on this it wasn’t you that failed it’s the horrible parts on eBay.

This is poorly documented, but the rail/roll from the fabric needs to to into its own slot before you put the grey clips onto it and the blue slot.

hey dude, you need to put la metal part(springs) in the gliding channel. (if you look carefully from the back you will see it)
