I call this the stupidgate
I love the GTI, but I would never buy one. I like to own my cars for 200K miles. Owning a GTI or any other German car would become too expensive.
Did I miss it? Pretty sure there’s no actual talk about VW going bust in this video.
VW's new line of vehicles this year looks pretty cheap and cinchy, with their all in one dash unit and the 2 tone plastic they keep putting in 45k + dollar vehicles. It makes the Toyota Corolla Hatchback look like a golden goddess when you compare features and pricing to that of a Golf or GTI
The Polish diesel was a very good engine, but VW automatic transmission didn't hold up against that power.

I've still got my Dieselgate VW. The only car in our car park more fuel efficient is a 2021 Corolla Hybrid
