Hmm Interesting discoveries you are finding!, I wish i had a bug myself,
but im sortya stuck with a old Ford Escort, English cars they are!

DoublecabTom says:

Find the right hose for the master cylinder it is a special hose Regular
hose will NOT stand up to the brake fluid. Napa sells one that will work
but they may not stock it

79dodge4ever says:

brake fluid isn’t suppost to eat rubber hose, because its not a petroleum
product so they say

I swapped a front end like you are doing about 17 years ago. Not much to it
that I recall. Shims! Another opportunity to use the POR15! Oh the joy! I
am out so I am not very happy not having some in my little fridge at the
shop. Ha! May be a while before I can get some more but it is a great to
have around for about anything you need to protect from rusting!

MrOldtimey says:

I hate to sound dumb, but what is 415?

HURLBUT6805 says:

storeing a car in a unheated garage for the winter doesn’t do anything
other then keep it from salt! there is a process to winterise engines for
cold storage.

rpeek says:

Por15. Paint that bonds to rust.

zx8401ztv says:

RandallFlaggNY says:

DANGER WILL ROBINSON! DANGER! DANGER!

WhoSaidTyler says:

That probably explains why it wouldn’t pull gas up before.
