I have a 2013 passat s "with appearance" and my radio is different from the one you removed, would that one work in my car
So in other words, buy a $500 radio and then buy $500 worth of wires needed to make it work.
Are you able to use voice command also? Did you need another harness / part to enable it?

How does the reverse camera part work do you have to run a seperate signal wire to the camera or no?
I have a 2012 passat with the RNS-315 navigation system. My problem is that it flashes all the time and even goes black for a bit. The backlight is always on, but sometime the picture won't display. Any ideas on why this is happening? Loose or faulty wire? Thanks!
I went to stereo sales and they said I wouldn't be able to install a newer radio "pioneer" for an example, they said I'd need an extra wire and etc for the cost of about $180?! They said it doesn't have a wiring harness or something like that. I need help.
