Jeanne Rosato says:

Hi …just went to my local VW service shop yesterday about replacing front grill…he said …its impossible to find the part even, really? 2004 VW Turbo convertible. Anyone have any leads???

Greg Crabb says:

These grills really should be made of metal mesh. I've already replaced mine once and it's broken again. First time a bolt flew up from the interstate and went through my AC condenser. Insurance covered it but still…a metal one might have stopped it. Now I have another hole in the mesh and a broken passenger fog light.

F. Nasierkhan says:

Where are the cables for the fog lights?

PC ONSTAD says:

Excellent Job!! Really helpful with my VW 2003 Beetle grille repair.

Dan McCoy says:

Trying this tomorrow. Seems straightforward.

marvin manns says:

Just came across this video…Question for you is did you cut or remove the bottom of the bumper that was painted under the grille? Thanks and great video!

Dee Dee says:

Great video but it would be helpful if you describe, do you have to buy 2 separate parts the grill and the housing, if you can put the link so you make it easy for everybody to find the parts, i found the grill $40 it looks like it does not come with the housing attachment thank you so much if you can help.

MajinBen Productions says:

On the left side of the beetle i see that extra plug extended off the fog light wires. Im currently putting my 03 beetle back together and have no idea what this is for. Any input? Thanks

Andrew M says:

where did you get the replacement part?

Shon9tilR says:

Only the left side of my grill is off like this one. I still need to remove the whole thing or can I just put that side back on?

Will McCutrey says:

Your's looks to be the same as mine – especially where I see the mounting holes for the License Plate bracket. Was your on with screws or lock-pins?

Mine has the lock pins, and it is proving to be extremely difficult to remove, while it blocks the upper portion of the Bumper Grill.

Harry T says:

I just replaced my passenger side fog light. Your instructions how to remove and put the grill housing back on was A+++ Thanks! 🙂

Giggles&Bonz says:

so what if the grill isn't lining up correctly on the housing?

bepriceless says:

Thanks for the vid. This will help me a lot. Why didn't you paint it?

Dave Kana says:

I used your vid to see how the fogs are supposed to be attached. My grill wasn't as bad as yours & I didn't have $300 burning a hole in my pocket. Had an old Chevy tailgate that I cut four metal patches that I used rivetes & sheet metal screws. Two of the piecess were to hold the fogs to the grill from the inside & two were for the fractured grill. Thanks again for posting, you gave me the only clear pix of what I needed to get it all back together & make it not look all butchered up, Dave

Dave Kana says:

Just what I needed to see so that I can do the fix. Moral of the story is not drive over anything in a NB! Thanks, Dave!

Juanita Rodriguez says:

so many questions lol. i cant remove my push pins where u drilled the hole its broken off how would i remove them

Juanita Rodriguez says:

they sell the molding and the lower gril , would i have to buy to separate things

Benjamin Dan says:
