Rotor was installed on the wrong side. Slots should have movement going with the forward direction of the car.

Had a specialist replace rear caliper just over a year ago as it had seized. Replacement has now seized again… Are these prone to failing? Many thanks.

Use a little anti seize on the caliper bracket bolts. youll be glad you did

My understanding is that the curved slots in the rotor (see 6:53) should point to the rear (not point forward). The rotor shown should be mounted on the driver's side.

Is it possible to do this without a car lift? The amount of force required to break those bolts and leverage needed makes me think that my floor jack approach will not work :/
