Is it weird that I watched the show, then came here to watch the ad for the show I just watched? I feel like I was reverse-raped? Is that even a thing? I'll tell you this much, it felt like a thing…not an entirely unpleasant thing, but a thing that definitely "happened" to me and I couldn't stop it…but I secretly want to "happen" again. Never understood the silver caps on golfs.. my 7.5 came with paint matched caps and they didn’t charge me for it thankfully

Can you post the part numbers for genuine VW black mirror caps? The only ones I have seen are Chinese.
For anyone doing this mod, if you don't plan to die with the car, especially if new, keep the caps in storage.

you can also tilt the glass all the way down with the door controls and reach the two tabs to release the cap vs removing the glass itself!
Got to admit the first thing I noticed on the car was the crap looking silver mirror caps. Glad you were ahead of it and swapped them to black, looks mint!

My girlfriend wanted to do this mod but she used a wall to take the cap off instead, was super quick tho would definitely recommend
