Ok kids, in reality it is not that simple. Corrosion and pressure exists and we must deal with them. So in accordance with the VW repair manual you can use VW ball joint puller 3287A…for those of you who can't gain access to that tool then just rent out from Oreilly or AutoZone. There are several types so bring with you a few hundred dollars to get all of them then returned them to get your entire money back.

The joint between the control and ball joint (where the three nuts are removed) is seized on my CC. I tried a pry bar, screw driver, and shocking with a hammer and have not succeeded in separate the two. Any suggestions? I'm trying to avoid a torch but if that's what it would take then so be it. Thanks in advance, love the videos!
