So after removing the battery because I was doing some fuse work and putting it back in, my Audi a3 won't start, exactly like in this video. It starts and dies with the glow plug light flashing… Thought that I broke the key somehow, got it checked and it is functioning absolutely fine, guessing the car forgot the key??

Why are all these videos for old cars – newer cars need 2nd keys too! Another vid on YT is programming a (newer) VW MK5, where he states that the "pin code" isn't needed for key programming. Based on what I've been able to glean from YT vids, this key programming thing is a confused mess.
