You should NOT do this as you need a new headlight unit with PROJECTORS. That will allow you to properly aim the bulb and have a nice cut-off pattern. Otherwise, with factor halogen reflective headlights this will shatter the light all over and BLIND other drivers, give you no better light pattern, and is just a bad idea. DO IT RIGHT.

Ive changed a lot of bulbs on a lot of different vehicles, and these are by far the stupidest design, VE always has to make things difficult!
Not sure what to say… for whoever engineered this light housing and the little metal pieces is either an idiot or a moron; there’s really no obvious third choice. That’s why I stay faaaaar away from German vehicles – they’re just not user friendly.
