DIY VW Passat Leather Car Seat Repair

DIY VW Passat Leather Car Seat Repair

In this video I describe what I did to improve the state of my girlfriend’s 2002 Passat driver’s leather seat. Using some cleaning, a salvaged seat and a leather repair kit I was able to repair some significant wear related damage to the leather – all for less than $75. It’s not perfect, but the repairs are unnoticeable to the casual observer, have improved the feel of the seat and stopped the progression of damage.

You paid 75 bucks and wasted countless hours of your time…..did you every consider calling up an upholstery shop??? They swap out panels like that all the time and it looks SO much better than this. Costs a little more, but a man needs to know what his time is worth.
