Can you use the original frame and not add the wood? I know it is better, but can you? Frankly, I don't know if mine has wood yet.
That headliner material looks so much better than the perforated vinyl. Was it a special purchase.
Great video, true craftsmanship. The 1970 also happens to be my favorite Karmann Bug, it's the result of thoughtful development over the years. The 1302 then spoilt it.
There is a lot of good knowledge in this video thanks for sharing. Wish this video series came out a year ago when we were trying to restore a 71 convertible.
