Kickashin says:

hey Chris I did my sunroof just like you showed but the first rain it leaked like a Hell, the problem is the rear rubber seal does not go where you put it , there is grove for the seal it is in the center of the front rear lip. that where the seal goes. the seal you did like has that grove for it to slip into that grove, so I anm redoing it . the way you did the water funs into the two holes and into the bottom pan it has to be to the front of those holes.

Does it work the same for T25 (Vanagon) sunroofs?? Thanks for the video

Hans Gruber says:

I think the bead is supposed to be flush. Otherwise my sunroof has a big gap. Then the back seal gets mounted the other way around that way it is also flush. I am by no means an expert though…

Adrian Rouco says:

Hi Chris, great videos! Much appreciated. I was wondering if you kept the old sliders and cables?

Alex Haynes says:

What size tubular seal did you use on the rear of the roof?

ajwasp says:

Did you do a water test?

Thank you for posting

Candelario Diaz says:

I have a 1967 VW bug and I’d like to put a rag top. It comes from a 1966. I don’t want it welded on top or weld it up under I want it even with the roof that would be the best way to install it to make it look more original even though 67 never came with a rag top .bug do you recommend someone that could install it and what is the price you think it would cost to have it done. I have other work that needs to be done

PS
Thank you in advance.
