Sounds good. Brian got the paint looking like new(almost)Hadn't seen a running VW for ages then two days after I started watching this series, I happened across a white convertible that I have never seen around these parts. So rare these days because of the damned winter road salt. Owned 7 beetles and vans so far. Might try my hand at one all over again 🙂
Ready for a cross country trip! Great series!! In 1979, I had a !969 Volkswagen bus and carelessly left a rag in the engine compartment. Needless to say, the fan swallowed it up somehow, and the oil light came on immediately hence a seized motor. That was a hard lesson learned………
When I was younger my brother had two different beetles as his first vehicles. I watch your videos with headphones on. When you took the camera and got into the passenger seat I could actually smell the interior of the beetles. That was a surreal experience down memory lane for someone inter early 60's. Nice job on the video. Thanks.

How did these old air cooled cars get heat in the cabin, or did it even have any?
Curb feelers!? I haven't seen them since my dad's 1960 Chevrolet impala.

He hasn't done VW work the right way ever
the fuel line should not be under the intake manifold.
Is the battery charger hum a bad coil or loose core plates?
the bug is like the perfect storm of cars, like caprice, the london taxi, the 350 four bolt nova – and the mitchell airplane
Whatever happened to the red 1970 vow bug you were fixing

I remember my beetle used air from the spare tire to wash the windshield. I guess that was a good way to make you keep air in your spare.
