There would be complaints in the other direction if there were reports of trucks being stolen when left idling and someone jumped in and took off.
Their smart key system is terrible . You cannot lock the door with the fob when the car is running . I have to take out that stupid key to lock the door and then use it to open it. People got dogs.

Yes dumb. That way on the 4Runner too. If they made it check for the key to keep running when the door gets opened (or just periodically), it would keep the car from being stolen.
