We went overlanding to the Ocala National Forest this past weekend and I smashed my head on the rear gate once too many times!! If you are like me, that you do not want, or enjoy, hitting your head on the rear gate (because the old spring are way too weak to support or lift the rear gate properly) then this video is for you!!!!!!!
Replacing the rear liftgate gas springs/supports on my FJ60 was simple, and honestly fairly inexpensive. I wish I had done this, 3 years ago.
Really easy to do (It took me about 30 minutes) and a great improvement to the cruiser.
