Hey Scotty, does one need to remove some oil before adding 505 CRF?
Timing belt on a transverse mounted 4cyl is STILL not a DIY job, in my opinion. I did it exactly once after it broke on an old 90s free-spinning engine and it’s the one job I’ll never tackle again in my life. What a pain
What do you think of the reliability of NEW Lexus NX350(2.4 turbo)?

Toyota problems per 100 was under 98. In 2021. Reliability has not slipped. However, electronics are probably a cuprit.

Scotty, Question on Engine Coolant:
Coolants in the last decade (+), are being rated for handling up to >150K miles. Should age be treated as a degradation point of coolant usability? [even if gauge says its fine]. If so, what would be an appropriate yr cost / mileage equivalence?
My new-replacement car is venturing near 14yo w/ ~80K on it, and only mildly guessing the coolant is OG [after finding AT oil was original and dire NEED of replacement]

Common Toyota issue. VVTi actuator/phaser noise. Not harmful drive on.
