great video. much appreciated
Why not grease the slide pins while you’re in there? Or grease the pads? May want to think about replacing your brake fluid too.
Changing the clips is not required if your existing clips are in good shape. But most new pads will come with new clips, so my attitude is why not replace them as part of job?
Is it really necessary to change the clips or just clean em off and re use them?
Thank you for taking the time to leave this comment, very much appreciated.
What a great camera placement to show every details of this process. Extra ordinary job! Thank you!
Changing rear brake pads are more tricky right than the front. I’ve changed the front brake pads before just not the back.

Hi Michael, brand is up to you, I used Duralast Gold on the front and AC Delco on the rear. The #’s are the same for each brand, it just a matter of choosing a manufacturer and vendor you like and trust. If you search on Amazon for brake pads for your RAV4 you’ll get a list of options to choose from. Or if you have a parts store near by the will have options for you too.
Hi! Her’s Michael. Thank you very much for your information. Sorry, but you didn’t
inform what Brand (Toyota? or something more?)
Thanks. Regards,Michael.
Hey there Michael, Thank you for the nice feedback. The pads on the front are 1211, the pads on the rear are 1212.
