these are good cars, but too small for a normal sized 6'4" guy like me. no thank you.
Why is it that the O2 sensors (and associated electronics) before and after the cats don't go bad frequently with all the road salt being splashed on them?
The Matrix, The Auris, the Corolla, the iM, (the Pontiac Vibe?????) the this and that- all over the world they had SO many hatchbacks that were Corollas at heart, so I understand why they unified it as "Corolla Hatchback" AAAAALL over the world.
Also 7:48 the codes were afraid of Scotty so the engine decided "You know what, turns out I feel fine"

I'm glad that gas mileage isn't a major concern for me.
I also had a 2010 Matrix base frontwheel drive, one of the best out of 23 vehicles that I owned in my 67 years. I live in snow country of northeastern Ontario Canada, and always ran All Season tires (I've never owned snow tires on any of my vehicles), and never got stuck even in deep powdered snow. A really Great car in my opinion!
Actually Toyota did a good thing in Renaming the matrix because Hyundai came out with a similar type vehicle that they Labelled with the name "Matrix" only it was a total pile of crap so anything associated with the name Matrix people tended to stay away from due to the Piss Poor Quality and reliability of The Hyundai Matrix.

I don't own a Toyota and never have. I still watch because I watch all Scottys vids.
My Volvo have Tire Pressure Monitoring, but don't have stupid sending units in wheels, it measures how many times wheel rolls and compare that whit another wheels, all cars have those computers, all cars monitor that allways. Why put some stupid units to wheels inside?
I believe the Corolla Cross is the new alternative to the Matrix.
The saddest part is the way this owner treats his Matrix, off-roading, driving through high water, etc. lol
The Toyota corolla hatchbacks in Europe isn't something new. They are around here since the 90s.
Whenever I'm in a bad mood I just watch a cheapskate Scotty video and lmao.
I own a 2012 Scion XB. Looked at the Matrix S. XB has more interior space and made in Japan ! Very little issues.
I often look for used Toyotas to fix and flip to make extra money. And can say stay far far away from any of the Toyota 2.4L engines. The 1.8L and 3.5L are pretty much bullet proof, but the 2.4L for all years, and models including scion just have too many problems.
