I have that engine in my 09 Camry. It's got 221k and burns less than a quart every 3k miles. Thank you Lord!!!!
as of August 2021, only the 2009+ 2.4L engine with LESS THAN 150,000 miles on the odometer, is entitled to a free engine rebuild. Manufacture date of the vehicle has to be 08/2009 or LATER
Rotary engines go through a lot of oil..
